Quick answers to the questions teachers ask most, and how to reach a person when you need one.

Creating with AI

  • Each document you turn into questions is one AI creation. The Free plan includes 5 a month and Teacher Pro includes 50. Allowances reset on the 1st of each month, and creations that fail or that you cancel never count. Your account page shows how many you have left.
  • PDFs and PowerPoint files are read in your browser; only the text needed to write questions is sent for processing. Scanned pages without selectable text can’t be read yet — copy the text in instead.
  • If Jamket says AI is temporarily unavailable, nothing has been used up. Try again in a little while; your document stays in the browser.
  • AI can make mistakes. Read every question and answer before you use a set with students.

Live games

  • Students join at the join page with the game code and a nickname. They don’t need an account or an email address.
  • A game holds up to 40 players on the Free plan and 100 on Teacher Pro. Only the host’s plan matters.
  • If a student’s device drops off the network, they can rejoin from the same device and keep their score. On networks that block live connections, Jamket switches to a slower connection automatically.
  • From the host screen you can lock a game so nobody new can join, and remove a player. See Abuse & copyright if something goes wrong.

Classes and assignments

  • The Free plan includes 3 classes of up to 40 students; Teacher Pro includes 50 classes of up to 150.
  • Students never pay. Students under 13 should use Jamket only through a class their teacher or school has set up.
  • Results from assignments and games appear in the class’s reports. Question insights, student drilldowns and exports are part of Teacher Pro.

Converting between platforms

  • Conversions run in your browser. For the best result, start from the source platform’s own export file; public links work for some platforms but can be blocked or private.
  • Check the compatibility report before you export. It lists anything the destination can’t represent exactly, such as a question type or a media file.
  • We never ask for your Quizlet, Kahoot or other platform passwords. Jamket is not affiliated with those platforms.

Devices, Lite Mode and accessibility

Jamket is built for the devices classrooms actually have: Chromebooks, Windows computers with Chrome or Edge, iPads and iPhones with Safari, and Android phones and tablets. On older or busy devices, turn on Lite Mode from Settings. Jamket also follows your device’s reduced-motion setting.

  • Tab reaches every switch, link and button, and keyboard focus is always visible.
  • Game answer choices use the arrow keys, with one Tab stop per question.
  • Dialogs keep focus inside, close on Escape and return focus to the button that opened them.
  • In the editor, Ctrl+Z and Ctrl+Shift+Z undo and redo outside text fields.
  • Touch controls are at least 44px and avoid accidental double-tap zoom.

If something is hard to use with a keyboard, screen reader or switch device, please tell us — we treat accessibility problems as bugs.

Account and billing

  • Sign in with Google, Microsoft or a one-time email link. We never ask you to create a password.
  • Change your plan, card or billing period, download invoices or cancel under Manage billing on your account page.
  • Charged in the last 14 days and it didn’t work out? Use Request a refund on the same page. Our refund policy explains the details.
  • To delete your account and data, use Delete account at the bottom of your account page.

Contacting support

Still stuck? Use our contact form. A person on the Jamket team replies by email, usually within 2 business days. To help us answer the first time, include:

  • what you were trying to do, what you expected and what happened instead;
  • the exact error message, if you saw one;
  • your device and browser (for example, “Chromebook, Chrome”);
  • for conversions, the source and destination platforms and the file type.

Please don’t send passwords, sign-in links, card numbers or student records. We never need them to help you.
