Refunds & cancellation

We want Teacher Pro to earn its place in your classroom. If it doesn’t, cancelling takes a minute and a recent charge comes back in full.

Free trial

Teacher Pro starts with a 7-day free trial, one per teacher. You add a card when you start the trial, and nothing is charged during it. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your plan starts automatically and your card is charged the price shown at checkout: $9.99 a month, $59.99 a year, or $44.99 for the first year with the Founding Teacher offer.

Your account page always shows when your trial ends and what you’ll be charged. If you cancel during the trial you keep Teacher Pro until the trial’s last day and are never charged.

Cancelling

Open your account page and choose Manage billing. Our payment processor, Stripe, shows your plan with a cancel button; you can also switch between monthly and annual billing, update your card and download invoices there.

  • Cancelling stops the next renewal. You keep every Teacher Pro feature until the end of the period you’ve already paid for, and your account then moves to the Free plan.
  • Nothing you made is deleted when Teacher Pro ends. Your sets, classes and reports stay in your account, and Free plan limits apply to what you do next.
  • Changed your mind before the period ends? Turn renewal back on in Manage billing.

Cancelling on its own doesn’t refund the current period. If you were charged in the last 14 days, ask for a refund instead — it cancels Teacher Pro for you.

Refunds within 14 days

If you ask within 14 days of a charge, we refund that charge in full. No explanation is required, although we do ask you to pick a reason so we can improve.

  • It covers the most recent payment on your account: your first payment (including the one that follows a free trial) or any renewal, monthly or annual.
  • The refund is issued immediately to the card or account you paid with, and Teacher Pro ends at the same moment. Your account moves to the Free plan; nothing you made is deleted.
  • One automatic refund is available per account in any 12-month period. A refund our team approves by hand counts as that one.

Requests we review

Every other request goes to a person on the Jamket team: a charge more than 14 days ago, a second refund within 12 months, a second request about the same payment, or a payment our system can’t refund automatically. We reply by email within 2 business days.

We look at each request individually and say yes whenever it’s fair — for example, when you forgot to cancel and haven’t used Teacher Pro since the renewal, or when something didn’t work for you. For an annual plan that has been in use for a while, we may offer a partial refund for the unused months instead.

How to ask for a refund

  1. Sign in and open Plan & billing on your account page.
  2. Choose Request a refund. Before you send anything, the dialog tells you whether the request will be refunded right away or reviewed by our team.
  3. Pick the main reason and, if you like, tell us what we could do better. Your feedback goes straight to the people who build Jamket.

Can’t sign in? Use our contact form with the topic “Billing or refunds”. Write from the email address on your account and include the date and amount of the charge. Never send card numbers — we don’t need them.

When the money arrives

Refunds go back to the original payment method. Most banks show them within 5–10 business days, though some take longer. Your account page lists each refund request and its status.

Duplicate or unexpected charges

You can only have one Teacher Pro subscription. If a second one is ever started for your account — for example, by finishing checkout in two browser tabs — we cancel the extra subscription automatically and refund anything it charged in full. That refund doesn’t count as your yearly automatic refund.

If you see a charge you don’t recognize, please contact us before disputing it with your bank. We can usually resolve it the same day, and a dispute can take weeks.

Failed payments

If a renewal payment doesn’t go through, Stripe tries your card again over the following days and your account page asks you to update your payment method. Teacher Pro keeps working for 7 days after the paid period ends, so a declined card never interrupts a lesson. If the payment still hasn’t succeeded by then, your account moves to the Free plan until it does. Nothing is deleted.

Founding Teacher offer

The Founding Teacher price — $44.99 for the first year of the annual plan, for a limited number of teachers — follows the same rules. A refund returns what you actually paid. After the first year the plan renews at the regular annual price of $59.99 unless you cancel, and your account page shows the renewal date and price in advance.

Deleting your account

Deleting your account cancels any subscription immediately but doesn’t refund it by itself. If you were charged in the last 14 days, request your refund first, then delete your account.
